Book Review: Merantau Ke Deli (Hamka)

Book Review: The Diary of A Bookseller by Shaun Bythell

The Diary of A Bookseller by Shaun Bythell was one of the books that I bought out of pure misinterpretation of what was written at the back of the book. I wanted to find something witty and it says it’s witty but turned out, I felt like I had stolen and read someone else’s diary. Just look at the menu bar of this blog. I have added 3 more buttons and they’re all the dream I made come to reality as early as before 8 a.m. this morning. Voila! For many years, I had always been dreaming of having a website or at least an online entry form that is accessible from anywhere I am at for the purpose of keeping a clean, paperless record of the books I have read as well as those I had shortlisted to be my next read. I know some of you…

Book Review: The Deserted Wife (ISBN: 978-967-16894-0-0)

Penned with every teardrop, I finally managed to finish my first book ever published in Malaysia; The Deserted Wife (ISBN: 978-967-16894-0-0). Before this, it took me years to complete it. Not because I wanted it to be thick but because it was not easy to speak of your failed marriage. The Deserted Wife is a true story of my own marriage that only lasted for four months. Sharing about how the feelings grew fonder, it evolves until the day of our court hearing. Get your copies of The Deserted Wife here The writing process was never easy. It was written in many forms before things were combined into a book. I could not pen it in a diary form because…
