Sepotong Ayat Dari Al-Quran: Memohon Pertolongan Allah Dengan Sabar Dan Solat

The Day I Put On The Housewives’ Hat

The Day I Put On The Housewives’ Hat You see, although this is my second time being a housewife, I would say that this time everything is very much mundane and almost as much as how every mother out there can figure out. An early warning: these 5 people share the same load of housewife chores once they decide they are ready to be called a mother. They are: your biological mother, your step-mother, your mother-in-law, the mother who breast-feed you, the grandmother who looks after their grandchildren while their parents are at work. I am not going to tell you how much tiring a day is like being a housewife, rather; I am very much saddened by the fact…

Ummu Hafsah

Sannah helwa, my mother. The one who put her life at stake for mine. Here’s a short narration for you.   Wahai Rabb ku – Ya Wahid, demi dia yang Kau maqamkan menjadi ummi, janganlah Kau pandang dia melainkan Kau rahmatinya, janganlah Kau dengar dia melainkan Kau terima semuanya.   Wahai Rabb ku – Ya Sami’, demi dia yang Kau maqamkan sehingga tiada terhijab doanya, janganlah Kau dengar doanya melainkan semuanya Kau kabuli, janganlah Kau melihat melainkan Kau redhai dia.   Wahai Rabb ku yang paling mengasihani, demi dia yang Kau maqamkan lelahnya menjadi peluput dosa, janganlah Kau pandang dia melainkan untuk mengampuninya, janganlah Kau terimanya melainkan sempurna agamaMu dia imani.   Wahai Rabbku yang amat Mujib, demi dia yang…

Happy Teacher’s Day to Myself

Happy Teacher’s Day to myself. This morning I woke up very well aware that it is 16th of the month and that means Teacher’s Day in our country. I grabbed my phone and put up a status like this: Happy Teacher’s Day to myself (I chose to be a little bit self-centered today). I wanted to be so. I want this year to be remembered because this marks my second time being a full-time housewife but it has a lot of difference from the last one. We had come across quotes telling you that experience is the best teacher. I can relate. In fact, I believe now that you are your best teacher. What you plan in your head, in…

Even Step-Mothers Wished For a Mother’s Day Celebration

Even Step-Mothers Wished For a Mother’s Day Celebration The Mother’s Day aura of celebration comes to us way early before the exact day every May of the year. In fact, if you ask me; I actually have no idea which day is it really, but because my mom’s birthday falls on the 23rd, things get a little sneaky for me when it comes to the celebration. Much is said about celebrating mother and father’s days when you are a Muslim but for me, I stick to my principle that both my mom and dad deserve these two celebrations because I do not want them to feel left out when the entire world keep showing appreciation to their parents. With or…
